Brianne is a licensed social worker in New Jersey (LSW) and New York (LMSW). She earned her Masters Degree in Social work from Fordham University and will soon be taking her licensing exam to become a clinical social worker.
Brianne has worked with children, adolescents and adults in numerous settings, including outpatient co-occurring disorders program, in a hospital setting on the detoxification and rehabilitation unit, with children/adolescent case management and within the foster care system. She has worked with clients who experience substance use disorder, children of substance users, trauma/ptsd, anxiety, depression, OCD, Bipolar disorser, perinatal loss and bereavement , fertility issues, LGBTQ, self-injurious behaviors and eating disorders. Brianne utilizes a multifaceted approach including DBT, CBT and motivational interviewing. She uses empathy and active listening to build a therapeutic relationship with her clients. Brianne believes in a client centered and trauma informed approach, recognizing her clients individuality. Her goal is to empower her clients and help them recognize their strengths, leading them to what they believe is their life worth living.
