Diane Sosa is a Psychotherapist with a passion for helping people live well! She is so thrilled to help you on your journey with therapy. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a part of the National Board for Certified Counselors.
Diane earned her Master’s in Clinical Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University. She has experience working with adolescents, young adults, and adults with a wide variety of behavioral, emotional, and mental health challenges. Her previous work included working in a FQHC community clinic with their psychiatric patients for many years. Currently, she is Psychotherapist at Stevens Institute of Technology and adjunct Psychology Professor at FDU.
As your therapist, she focuses on providing a safe, non-judgmental and confidential space to talk about the challenges you would like to process. Whether you’re dealing with stressors from work, a recent break up, peer conflicts, anxiety from your busy schedule, or difficulties with a past traumatic experience, Diane enjoys working with individuals to help overcome a range of psychological and emotional issues such as anxiety, depression, and lack of motivation, in order to improve their social-emotional development.
Through the therapeutic process, clients will focus on their individual needs and build on existing strengths to cope with life’s challenges in an inviting and secure environment.
